Prepared from a recombinant strain of E. coli, Klenow is greater than 95% pure as indicated by SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Each lot of Klenow is tested for the absence of any endonuclease activity and for its suitability in sequencing by the dideoxy method.
