All-in-one tabs with pre-measured agarose and the TBE buffer needed to cast electrophoresis gels – just add water, dissolve, and boil! GelGreen® Agarose Tabs™ contain GelGreen® DNA stain to facilitate DNA visualization under safe blue light, making them ideal for use with the blueGel™ or GELATO™ electrophoresis systems. Packaged in a convenient blister pack, these tabs are ideal for routine DNA and RNA gel electrophoresis including separation of PCR products.
With 0.4 g agarose per tab, one pack is sufficient to cast up to 30 1% gels or up to 15 2% gels for the blueGel™ system:

Desired agarose gel concentration:

    • For 2% agarose gels Mix 1 GelGreen® Agarose Tabs™ with: 20 ml distilled water.
      To yield: 1 agarose gels for blueGel™ system
    • For 1% agarose gels Mix 1 GelGreen® Agarose Tabs™ with: 40 ml distilled water
      To yield: 2 agarose gels for blueGel™ system
  • Adjust volume proportionally for other desired agarose concentrations.
