Applications & Benefits

Applications: Proteinase K is a non-specific serine protease and is particularly effective on native proteins. Our Proteinase K is recommended for the isolations of native high molecular weight DNA and mRNA from microorganisms and mammalian cells. It has also been used for the extraction of genomic DNA from mouse tail biopsies and PCR genotyping.
