microLYSIS®

microLYSIS® is a novel reagent specially formulated for use as a pre-step to PCR in circumstances when purification of the DNA is unnecessary. Tried and tested 'One step' protocols exist for many cell types including bacteria, viruses, whole blood and buccal cells.

The unique formulation of microLYSIS® combined with a rapid heating and cooling of the thermocycler effectively lyses the cells and enables you to go directly from cells to PCR in minutes.
Part or all of the resulting lysis solution can be used directly in the PCR provided no PCR inhibitors are transferred. Washing and spinning are therefore not required.
