MegaMix~Double

MegaMix and MegaMix~Blue are also available at a double concentration. To perform PCR, simply aliqot the desired volume of MegaMix~Double and add an equal volume containing the required amount of DNA template and primer pair.

The use of a concentrated master mix can have the advantage of reducing the final PCR volume and is particularly useful when using dilute DNA templates or primers.

MegaMix~Double is ideal to be used with microLYSIS®, where the 'PCR ready' DNA may be in 20µl. Simply add primers to 25µl of MegaMix~Double and make up to 30µl with water. Then add this mixture to the microLYSIS®/DNA.

MegaMix~Double has all the advantages of the standard MegaMix with added use. Also available with blue dye on request.
