MegaMix

MegaMix is a 'Use in an Instant' complete freeze/thaw stable, high-performance, PCR Master Mix containing all the fixed components needed for PCR amplification; a licensed Taq DNA polymerase, dNTPs, MgCl₂, reaction buffer and a superb enzyme stabiliser. To set up a PCR, simply thaw MegaMix, aliquot the desired volume and add DNA and primers.
MegaMix™ is convenient and efficient. It increases reproducibility of DNA amplification, saves valuable lab time and dramatically reduses the risks of contamination during reagent handling.

All the components of MegaMix have been carefully optimised to produce the maximum yield with minimum of non-specific background. MegaMix has been extensively tested on a wide range of DNA templates and primer combinations. A standard 50µl PCR reaction contains 1 unit of tap and has final 2.5mM MgCl₂ concencentration.

MegaMix is very stable and it can be frozen/thawed many times without any loss of enzyme activity.
