Klenow DNA Polymerase Exo- is a DNA-dependent DNA polymerase that lacks both the 5'- 3' and 3'- 5' exonuclease activities of E. coli DNA Polymerase I from which it is derived.
Concentration and Specific Activity
20 Units /µl at greater than 1 X 104 Units/mg
Unit Definition
One Unit of Klenow DNA Polymerase Exo- converts 10 nmoles of dNTPs into acid-insoluble material in 30 minutes at 37°C.
Quality Control
Klenow DNA Polymerase Exo- is free of detectable endo- and exonuclease and RNase activities.
