The FailSafe™ PROBES Real-Time PCR System enables rapid, precise optimization of PCR experiments in which the product is detected using fluorescent target-specific labeled probes
The FailSafe™ PROBES Real-Time PCR System uses the FailSafe™ PCR Enzyme Blend, which has been proven to amplify the most difficult templates with extremely high specificity, sensitivity, and fidelity, and a set of 8 specially-chosen PCR 2X PreMixes representing a complete range of optimal real-time PCR conditions. Each PCR PreMix contains everything needed for optimal real-time PCR for a certain group of template and primer sequences, including EPICENTRE's® FailSafe™ PCR Enhancer with Betaine,* which improves amplification specificity, efficiency, and sensitivity. In addition, the specially-designed PreMixes, in combination with the robust FailSafe™ PCR Enzyme Blend, enable setup of reactions at room temperature, so hot-start PCR is not necessary.
Use the FailSafe™ PROBES Real-Time PCR Optimization Kit to determine the optimal PCR PreMix for a particular individual or multiplex real-time PCR using labeled probes. Just add a cocktail of your template, primers and probes to each PreMix in the kit and thermocycle. At least one of the PreMixes will provide the optimal PCR reagent conditions to assure optimal results with your templates, primers, and probes.
Subsequently, choose that optimal PreMix when you order a FailSafe™ PROBES Real-Time PCR PreMix-Choice Kit to obtain consistent, reliable results in all future real-time PCR assays using the same primers and probes. You can choose up to the stated number of Real-Time PCR 2X PreMixes for each respective package size of a FailSafe PROBES PreMix-Choice Kit.

Highly consistent duplicates showed good linearity of 1.000 for both genes and excellent PCR efficiency of 105.9% and 100.6% for actin and GAPDH respectively over a broad 7-log dynamic range. |
