The BAC-Tracker™ Supercoiled DNA Ladder is suitable for estimating the size of large supercoiled DNAs, such as BAC (Bacterial Artificial Chromosome) clones, by agarose gel electrophoresis. The BAC-Tracker Ladder contains five discreet supercoiled DNAs ranging from 38kb to 160kb.

The Ladder is provided in a ready-to-load solution. Simply load 10µl BAC-Tracker Supercoiled DNA Ladder per gel lane. Run the gel. Stain the gel using ethidium bromide or SYBR® Gold.

BAC-Tracker Supercoiled Ladder:

Supercoiled DNAs of 38kb, 55kb, 80kb, 120kb, and 160kb.

Quality Control:

Each batch of BAC-Tracker Supercoiled DNA Ladder is checked by gel electrophoresis to ensure correct size of all 5 supercoiled DNA bands.
