Cell Culture Contamination Control

Cell Culture Contamination Control: Prevention

Mycoplasma Prevention

No. Mycoplasma Off® Wipes are made with a bleach-free formula leaving a light, clean scent every time you wipe off a surface. Mycoplasma Off® Wipes are alcohol-based and therefore non-corrosive.

Are Mycoplasma Off® Wipes canister recyclable?

Yes. Our regular Mycoplasma Off® Wipes canisters are made from recyclable polyethylene. Check with your local recycling company for a list of the materials it accepts for reprocessing. Also economic packets are available for refill (Order No. 15-5001).

Can I use Mycoplasma Off® Wipes as a hand wipe or for personal use?

No, Mycoplasma Off® Wipes should not be used for personal cleansing. Please read and follow the product label instructions.

Do Mycoplasma Off® Wipes have a clear-drying formula?

Yes, Mycoplasma Off® Wipes combine a thick, honeycomb-textured wipe with a unique clear-drying formula. So they are great for cleaning and disinfecting shiny surfaces like glass tables, bathroom mirrors, and metal fixtures.

What kind of germs do Mycoplasma Off® Wipes kill?

Mycoplasma Off® Wipes kill mycoplasma within seconds. Wipes are also effective against common bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis, Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, Salmonella enterica, E. coli, and TBC.
