Cell Culture Contamination Control: Cell Culture Standardisation

EUB Polymerase, DNA-free

Polymerase, taq

Minerva Biolabs

Description

EUB Polymerase is a thermostable DNA polymerase. It has a half-life of 3 hours at 96°C. EUB DNA Polymerase possesses the following activities: 5', 3' DNA polymerase activity and 5', 3' exo-nuclease activity. EUB Polymerase lacks the 3', 5' proofreading activity, which makes it easy to use. EUB Polymerase is purified free of contaminating endo- and exonucleases. This enzyme is optimal for use with Onar®EUB.

Unit Definition

One unit is defined as the amount of the enzyme required to incorporate 10 nmoles of dNTPs into acid-insoluble form in 30 minutes at 72°C.

Contents and Storage

EUB Polymerase, supplied at 100 units/ml, 2 units/µl in 20 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.4 at 25°C) 100 mM KCl; 0.1 mM EDTA; 1 mM DTT; 0.5 % Tween 20; 0.5 % Nonidet P 40; 200 µg/ml BSA, and 50 % (v/v) glycerol. Store below -18°C.
